Testimonials I went to Bounce Back PT for a herniated disc, and had the good fortune to work regularly with both Kyoko and Paul. The activities I was working toward getting back to were not typical of a lot of Manhattan clients—horseback riding and kayaking—but both Kyoko and Paul worked tirelessly to come up with creative and challenging sport-specific training methods to get me back to an active lifestyle. I feel like together, as a team (and they felt very much like my team who were terrifically supportive) we dodged a bullet as I was able to return to my activities pain-free, as well as leave armed with an at-home regime that keeps me from re-injuring myself. The blend of completely personal attention and intensive focus, as well as an easy demeanor and great sense of humor, made sessions that were not always physically comfortable a pleasure anyway. I initially chose Bounce Back because they were close to my office. I had no friends in PT to make recommendations, so what did I know? I can honestly say that if I needed to go back to physical therapy, and they moved across town, to another borough, or somewhere much less convenient, I would definitely travel to get to them instead of going to anybody else. -- Andrew M. **** I had a good feeling about Bounce Back Physical Therapy – a young, energetic practice with young, energetic owner-therapists – even before I walked through its doors. When I made my appointment, I learned that my therapist, Paul Evora, was a 12-time marathoner; my injury, a partially torn Achilles tendon, was sustained while running and my goal was to get back on the road as soon as possible, a goal that I knew Paul would understand. He developed a program of stretching, balancing and strengthening that not only helped my torn Achilles heal but made me more flexible than I was before the injury. He was patient and tough when he needed to be (especially when I was chomping at the bit to get back on the road prematurely). Five weeks later, I was running almost at my old pace and feeling no pain. I can’t say that I miss my sessions, but I felt very comfortable in the funky-but-friendly space in the Chelsea warehouse district. Every patient will have different goals and timetables, but for me, Bounce Back certainly lived up to its name. -- Rob H. ****

**** Over the years as an Office Manager, I am always on the phone and sitting at a desk, I eventually started experiencing constant pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back. I began working with Kyoko a few months ago, and she quickly showed me how knowledgeable she was in her field and began educating me on how to manage and eventually heal my injuries that had developed over the years. Physical therapy with Kyoko is very hands on; she demonstrates all exercises for her patients while combining massage and exercise with strength training. She is an excellent Therapist with a wonderful personality. I started seeing results immediately, I am now able to go back to doing some of the things I enjoy like dancing and walking. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Kyoko and would recommend her to anyone in need of a good Physical Therapist. Thanks -- Denise R. **** I would highly recommend the team at Bounce Back for any kind of physical therapy. I found my sessions and training to be intimate, manageable, pleasant and extremely beneficial in the long term. I made great progress without realizing it and when I finished my sessions, I was left with a tailored routine that I could accomplish on my own schedule without a lot of time or stress. Totally worthwhile! -- C.K. **** I am writing to recommend Bounce Back Physical Therapy located at 511 W 25th St, NYC. I have been going to them (in their former life at the Chelsea Piers sports medicine clinic (part of NY Presbyterian) for the better part of three years. They, especially Paul, have singlehandedly forestalled me from having extensive knee and hip surgery which has been recommended to me over the years. While I may not look it, I am extremely active, swimming 2 miles weekly, doing yoga and cardio/weight workouts to the tune of 6 times weekly. Part of it is to relieve stress, the other, on Paul's recommendation, is to prevent further injury to my knee/hip. And he has been very successful. Their PT practice has also treated a number of other DEA agents and support staff. I can only sing their praises. ---Camille C. ****
